i was at the show on Saturday and wasnt that impressed. now that i see the records of some of the opponents may that is why the fights weren’t very good. very little action and the crowd was not into it at all. wish i had stayed home and watched the fights on hbo.

ditto fightfan79. i also was at the fights and i don’t want to be seen as hating on colorado boxing but i thought it was a boring show. manny perez can’t punch and looked tired in a 6 round fight and don’t even get me started on the main event. almost unwatchable.
i think castillo has some good boxing skills though.
good to meet you before the show brian and btw, looks like aikenboy was right about angulo, cintron did what he had to do to stay relevent.

i was at the fights. pretty much agree with the other 2 comments. just a reason to get the home fighters some W’s. i do think that castillo is very fast and and thought that jacob dominguez looked good in his first pro fight. i was a big ron lyle fan so happy that his guy got a win.
brian, this is my first time commenting and just wanted to tell you that i really like the site. you’re writing is excellent and the ‘ruminations & ramblings” always get me thinkin and laughin’. keep it up. i lived in vegas for awhile so i have read a lot of boxing journalism, and i really think you have a future with this.
